Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about AllSpark Legal, our free assessment, and how cases reach licensed attorneys.
Is the assessment really free?
Yes. The assessment is completely free for you. There is no cost, no credit card, and no hidden fees. Attorneys pay a fee to receive cases through our platform — you are never charged.
Will I get bombarded by phone calls?
No. We don't give your information to call centers or lead resellers. If you choose to connect, participating attorneys licensed in your state see a summary of your situation so they can decide whether to accept your case. Only the attorney who accepts your case may contact you. If that attorney later steps back, another participating attorney may accept it — one at a time, never a flood of calls.
Is my information safe?
We protect it. Nothing is shared with any attorney unless you choose to connect. If you do, participating attorneys licensed in your state see a summary of your situation so they can decide whether to accept your case, and the attorney who accepts it receives your contact details. We don't sell your information to data brokers or other marketers. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
What happens after I complete the assessment?
You see which kinds of claims may apply to your situation and, for some situations, how similar cases have been resolved. Then you decide whether to connect with an attorney. If you choose to, we send your case to participating attorneys licensed in your state who handle that kind of case. If one of them accepts it, that attorney contacts you.
Do I need to hire the attorney who contacts me?
No. There is no obligation. The attorney will discuss your situation with you and explain your options. You decide if you want to move forward with them. If not, that is completely fine.
How long does the assessment take?
About 5 minutes. You answer questions about your situation in plain English or Spanish — no legal jargon. It works on your phone, tablet, or computer. No account or login required.
Is AllSpark Legal a law firm?
No. AllSpark Legal is a legal advertising and lead generation platform — not a law firm, not a lawyer referral service, and not a provider of legal advice. Participating attorneys pay a flat fee to receive cases through our platform. AllSpark does not recommend, endorse, or select any specific attorney and makes no representations about the quality or experience of participating attorneys. "Qualified attorney" means a lawfully licensed attorney who has identified their relevant practice area and geographic location. No attorney-client relationship is created until an attorney agrees to represent you.
What practice areas do you cover?
We cover workers' rights (employment law) in Texas and Georgia, including wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wage theft. In Georgia we also cover personal injury, including car, truck, and motorcycle accidents, slip and fall, and dog bites. We're adding more states and practice areas.
What states do you cover?
The free assessment is currently available in Texas and Georgia, and we're adding more states. If your state is not open yet, you can join our waitlist and we'll let you know when it is.
How do you choose which attorney contacts me?
We do not choose. Your case is sent at the same time to every participating attorney licensed in your state who handles that kind of case. The first one to accept it is the one who contacts you. If that attorney steps back, another participating attorney may accept it. We do not recommend, steer, or select any specific attorney. It is first-come, first-served.
Is what I tell AllSpark protected by attorney-client privilege?
No. AllSpark Legal is not a law firm, so what you share with us is not protected by attorney-client privilege. We protect it as our Privacy Policy describes, and we share it with attorneys only if you choose to connect.
